Theological Focus

Transfiguration Sunday serves as the glorious climax of the Epiphany season. On the mountain, Jesus’ divine nature is unveiled in dazzling light before he turns his face toward the shadow of the cross. It is a threshold moment, linking the revelations of his ministry with the coming sacrifice of Lent, confirming his identity as the Beloved Son.
