Theological Focus

Good Friday is the solemn commemoration of the Passion, a day of profound silence and grief. We stand at the foot of the cross, witnessing the ultimate expression of sacrificial love and the depth of divine solidarity with a suffering and broken world.

Scriptural Connection

The crown of thorns in John 19:2 mocks Christ’s kingship while inadvertently revealing its true nature. His throne is a cross, and his glory is found in his absolute identification with human suffering, rejection, and the weight of our collective sin.
