Theological Focus

Easter Sunday is the "Feast of Feasts," the day when the impossible becomes reality. It is the definitive declaration that life is stronger than death, and that God’s "Yes" to humanity in the Resurrection has rewritten the destiny of the entire cosmos and every human heart.

Scriptural Connection

Mark 16 offers a stark and powerful account of the empty tomb, characterized by "trembling and astonishment." This narrative reminds us that the Resurrection is not a tidy ending, but a disruptive beginning that calls us out of our fears and into a new, courageous way of being.

Sermon Ideas

Preach on "The Gospel of the Unexpected." Mark’s original ending leaves the story open-ended, inviting the listeners to become the messengers. How do we carry the "good news" into the places of our own lives where we previously saw only dead ends, silence, and closed tombs?
